I was born in 1981 in North-West of Poland. Interested in IT, I did a Bachelor degree in Computer Science and a Masters in Electronics and Telecommunication. After my graduation from college I married my lovely wife Marlena and I decided to change our life, so I started to look for a better place to live on this planet. I found it in the west of Ireland. We moved to Galway - a nice medium size city with awesome culture and traditions. Currently I'm the owner of Smart PC - the IT support company in Galway, but in my free time I'm a photographer.
My fascination with photography probably started on our wedding day photo session which was done by Sławomir Trojanowski from Studio ESTE. When I bought my first camera Nikon D40x my first idea was to take a lot of cool pictures from our trips and adventures. In the mean time I was experimenting with my new camera and I was looking for more and more interesting ideas. Soon the photography became my favourite hobby. When I showed my photographic work to some of my friends they were very impressed. That made me a little bit more confident and pushes me to do more research in the field of photography. I've started to study professional photography literature and practice more with my camera. In the mean time I've collected some more equipment including some of Nikon's top range lenses, flash lights ect. and decided to do my photography as a pro.
Currently I am a member of Nikon's Professional Users Club and I'm working with Nikon D300s and D7000. I find those cameras to be very reliable especially in situations where I have to change camera settings very quickly and when really fast AF is needed. I'm always saying that the good photography depends not on the camera, but on photographer's knowledge and imagination. During my research I've met some terrible "pro" photographers who were very arrogant in opinions about themselves and I've met some very good and creative photography enthusiasts also.
I do not claim to be the best. Instead I allow my photos to speak for me and allow others to judge me on the merits of my work.
I'm doing lots of glamour, commercial, fashion and wedding photography but I don't like to be classified as a specific category photographer because I'm looking for a challenge in a wide variety of subjects, using different techniques and styles. Currently I'm working with a few artists, actors and models in Galway city, helping them with portfolios, posters or just photo shooting with them for fun and practice. I'm constantly looking for a new challenges and ideas which will help me to impress the human eye. Sometimes I use HDR technique to achieve better results. My target is to show something ordinary in an unusual way or different point of view. I'm experimenting and creating different conceptions every time I use my camera. The most important thing for me is to be as creative as possible.
